General Information

Saboderm DISM is a high polar diester from malic acid and isostearyl alcohol. It is a rich emollient that functions as an excellent wetting agent and binder for powders and pigments.

Saboderm  DISM  is  a  film  former  emollient  used  mostly  in  make  up  or  other  formulations  involving suspension.

•  Non-greasy and non-tacky feeling

•  Gives thick film and gloss

•  Good compatibility with oils and waxes

•  Low freeze point

•  Compatible with hydrocarbon oils and silicone oils

•  Its high contact angle is ideal for applications requiring targeted delivery

Properties

•  Imparts gloss, sheen and lubricity without oiliness

•  Great pigments dispersion

•  Binder in pressed powder

•  Rich emollient in creams with low slip and cushion effect that persist after rubout

•  Substitute for castor Oil. Superior in oxidative stability and physical properties such as compatibility, water resistance, pigment dispersing ability, gloss and luster

•  Helps control hardness of waxes and sweating in solid cosmetics

Applications

•  Lipstick & Lip gloss (reduces feathering and bleeding)

•  Make-up, foundation, blusher
